Andy’s career in marketing and technology has spanned multiple disciplines and contexts, but the common thread has been pairing the latest innovations with critical business needs.
He currently is the director of the AT&T AdWorks Lab, an immersive experimentation and demonstration space designed to inform, engage and inspire marketers. The Lab’s focus is the rapidly changing multi-screen media ecosystem, how it impacts consumerbehavior, and AT&T’s role in it. Andy spends much of his time hosting tours and curating the space with relevant content and emerging technology.
Andy periodically authors thought leadership pieces on the future of technology and advertising. His pieces have appeared in publications such as AdWeek, MediaPost, and Mobile Marketer.
Prior his current role, Andy spent over 2 years with the IPG Media Lab, where he focused on scouting startups and emerging technology. He met with hundreds of potential partners for IPG Mediabrands' clients and authored numerous blog posts, event recaps (e.g. CES, SXSW) and a white paper on the future of TV.
Altogether spent over 7 years on the agency side with leading shops including R/GA, AKQA and FCB. His focus was on project management and he led multi-million dollar engagements for several high-profile brands.
Early on, Andy was a management consultant with IBM for six years, specializing in CRM implementations. Engagements included multiple Fortune 500 clients in a wide variety of industries.
Andy is also a Notary Public and a licensed New York City tour guide, if you need him for either of those things too.
